FindAgent ("we", "us") operates findagent.asia, a free service that matches property owners, buyers and tenants in Thailand with vetted real estate agents. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) ("PDPA").
Data we collect
When you complete our matching form we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact channel, what you want to do (buy, sell, rent or rent out), the area and type of property involved, and the languages you would like your agent to speak. We also automatically collect standard technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the marketing campaign parameters in the link you arrived through.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use your enquiry details for one primary purpose: to match you with suitable agents and pass your enquiry to them so they can respond. Our lawful basis for this is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on the form. We use technical and analytics data on the basis of legitimate interest, to keep the site secure, measure how our marketing performs and improve the service.
Who we share it with
We share your enquiry with the vetted partner agents and partner brokerages we match you to, so that they can contact you. We also use service providers who process data on our behalf — website hosting, email delivery, spreadsheet and CRM storage, and analytics. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
International transfers
Some of our service providers store data on servers outside Thailand. Where personal data is transferred abroad we take steps to ensure it receives a comparable standard of protection, in line with PDPA requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for 24 months from your last interaction with us, so that we can handle follow-up questions and resolve any dispute about a referral. After that it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights under the PDPA
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy; to have inaccurate data corrected; to request deletion or destruction of your data; to object to or restrict certain processing; to request that we transfer your data to another provider; and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place, and may mean we can no longer match you with an agent. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@findagent.asia. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: essential functionality, and measuring the performance of our advertising through Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta pixel. These tools may set cookies that let us understand which campaigns bring enquiries. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential parts of the site will still work.
Security
We apply appropriate organisational and technical safeguards — encrypted transport, access controls and limited staff access — to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Children
Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 20 years of age without appropriate parental consent.
